Gaspard Rwanyiziri is an Associate Professor of Environmental Planning and Management with 25+ years of experience in conducting environment and climate change research; coordinating national and regional research projects; conducting consultancy services for public and non-government institutions; and undertaking community outreach on environment and climate change related matters across the country. He has an extensive publication record and proven track record in managing international consortia with universities, NGOs, and government, partners.


Chikondi Mphamba

I am currently a lecturer in the Department of Land Surveying and Physical Planning at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). Between 2019 to 2021 and 2021 to 2023 I held the positions of Deputy Head and Head of the department of Land Surveying and Physical Planning, respectively. Beyond my professional role, I am a founder of Jane Mphamba foundation, an organization which through fundraising activities support less privilege girls.

Anteneh Wondimu Eshetie

I have over 14 years of professional experience in land governance, responsible agricultural investment, land use planning, landscape restoration, and integrated livelihood development. I have worked with national and international NGOs to implement community-based programs, strengthen local institutions, and promote sustainable land and livelihood systems. I hold a Master’s degree in Environment and Land Resource Management, which provides a strong academic foundation for my work in sustainable land use and governance.

Climate Change, MEAL, and land rights professional with experience at Catholic Relief Services, USAID, and ForumCiv Liberia, specialising in climate-smart agriculture and Climate adaptation, monitoring and evaluation, environmental safeguards, land rights advocacy, capacity building, and community development to support evidence-based, inclusive, and climate-resilient programs.
