He has served as lecturer and assistant professor at Mekelle University since 2015 G.C. He did his PhD in Land Policy and Governance funded by DAAD-NELGA at Bahir Dar University, Institute of Land Administration. He was also funded by NELGA Post-doctoral scholarship in Land Policy and Governance. He has attended a summer school at Leipzig University, Germany in 2018. He is currently working at Mekelle University, School of Law in the rank of an assistant Professor. He has published several articles, presented several papers in international and national platforms, conducted several research themes
